DESCRIPTION
The LTC®5541 is part of a family of high dynamic range passive, high gain downconverting mixers covering the 600MHz to 4GHz frequency range.The LTC5541 is optimized for 1.3Ghz to 2.3GHz RF applications. The LO frequency must fall within the 1.4GHz to 2.0GHz range for optimum performance. A typical application is a LTE or W-CDMA receiver with a 1.7GHz to 2.2GHz RF input and low-side LO.

The SP8861 is a low power single chip synthesiser intended for professional radio applications, containing all the elements (apart from the loop amplifier) required to build a PLL frequency synthesis loop
The device is serially programmable by a three-wire data highway and contains three independent buffers to store one reference Divider word and two local oscillator Divider words. A digital phase detector with two charge pumps, programmable in phase and gain, are provided to improve lock-up performance. The preset operation of the charge pumps can be overwritten or the comparison frequencies switched to output ports under control of the Divider word. The dual modulus ratio and so operating range is also programmable through the same word.
A power down mode is incorporated as a battery economy feature.

1.3Ghz Dual Wideband Logarithmic Amplifier

The SL2524 is a PIN compatible replacement for the SL2521 and SL2522 series of log amplifiers, and exhibits a superior stability performance. The amplifier is a successive detection type which provides linear gain and accurate logarithmic signal compression over a wide bandwidth. The two stages can be operated independently.
When six stages (three SL2524s) are cascaded the strip can be used for IFs between 30-650MHz whilst achieving greater than 65dB dynamic range with a log accuracy of <±1.0dB. The balanced limited output also offers accurate phase information with input amplitude.

Description
The SP5848 is a dual PLL frequency synthesizer controlled by a 3-wire bus optimised for application in double conversion tuners.
Each synthesiser loop within the SP5848 is independently addressable and contains an RF programmable Divider, phase/frequency detector and charge pump/loop amplifier section; a common reference frequency oscillator and Divider chain is provided, whose ratios for each loop are independently programmable.
